Retro Jewelry

The Retro Jewelry period (1935-1949) occurred during the time of World War II. Resources used in jewelry manufacturing were dedicated to the war effort. It was during this period that the American jewelry market flourished. Pink or "rose" gold became very popular as well as big, bold styles. Bows, ribbons, birds, flowers, and patriotic themes were widespread styles of Retro jewelry.
