Vintage Estate Garnet & Pearl Broach & Earring Set -
Earrings:
Fourteen (14) karat yellow Gold lady's hand assembled vintage pearl and almandite garnet earrings with clip back & post and with a high polish finish. The earrings weigh 6dwt. There are 12 round-cultured pearls which measure 3.00mm in width, (in each earring for a total of 24 pearls). The pearls have a rose' pink body color and a high luster. In the center of the earrings are almandite garnets. The garnets measure 5.00mm. in width. The garnets have a red-orange/orange-red body color of 6/3 GIA grading. The garnets are surrounded by cultured pearls.

Broach:
Fourteen (14) Karat yellow gold lady's hand assembled oval-shape almandite garnet & cultured pearl vintage broach with a high polish finish. The broach weighs 28dwt. The broach comes apart in two sections and can be worn as clips on a collar. There are 3 oval-shape almandite garnets on each section of the broach for a total of 6 garnets. There are 28 round cultured pearls surrounding the garnets for a total of 56 cultured pearls, in the two seperate sections. The pearls measure 3.50mm x 2.50mm. In the center of the broach are 10 round cultured pears measuring 3.50mm x 3.00mm. The pearls have a rose'-pink body color and high luster. The broach measures 3 inches in length and 1.50 inches in width. Containing:
Six prong set oval standard cut almandite garnets, measuring 9.00 x 8.00 x 4.45mm, approximate total weight of 15.60ct., clarity is eye clean, type II, very dark, slightly brownish, red orange color, (GIA RO 8/2), cut is very good.
