14 Karat Yellow gold lady's combination cast & die struck opal and ruby ring with a half round shank with a high polish finish. The ring weighs 3 dwt. containing:

Nineteen prong set round standard brilliant cut ruby, measuring 1.70 - 1.60 x 1.07 mm, approximate total weight of 0.38ct., clarity is VS, type II, medium, strong, red colour, (GIA r 5/5), cut is good.

One opal that is cut in a round shaped cabochon and is prong set, measuring 10.00 mm long x 10.00 mm wide, and 4.60 mm thick and the approximate weight is 2.94 carats. The opal has a somewhat bright, multicolor play of color (fire) in a rolling flashfire pattern; a medium dome; a good cut; no inclusions; distracting variation in base in its brightness and pattern; and is slightly directional. Size 5 3/4- can be sized a couple of sizes up or down.
